A week-long celebration marking our first 20 years at BIRDscapes Gallery – what a milestone! The week starts at midday on Saturday 11th October with the opening of our 20th Anniversary Exhibition by special guest Nick Acheson. Nick is a well-known author, naturalist and conservationist, and we are delighted that Nick will be able to join us to mark the opening of our anniversary exhibition, following in the footsteps of Stephen Moss who opened the gallery all those years ago! All the artists who have worked with us and supported us over the last 2o years have been invited to contribute to the Anniversary Exhibition. We are so pleased to have made it this far, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the huge and diverse talents of all the artists whose work we exhibit. This collection of new work will showcase the wide-ranging variety of styles and techniques of the contemporary wildlife artists at the top of their game, who have helped to make BIRDscapes a leading wildlife art gallery in the UK. With some surprises in store throughout, our anniversary week will culminate on Saturday 18th October, with a long-anticipated sculpture demonstration by super-skilled ceramicist Karen Fawcett. Keep an eye out on the website, Instagram and our newsletter for further details.
So we invite you, our loyal and wonderful customers, to join us in celebration of our 20 year anniversary, for as well as the artists, we certainly couldn’t have reached such a significant milestone without all of YOU!!
